History of Mizuno running shoes

The Olympics helped greatly in making sports popular all over the world, including the island of Japan. In 1906, modern sports events were just starting to begin real acceptance in Japan.
Knowing all athletes needed the best running shoes possible, the Mizuno brothers set up shop. In 1912, Japan participated in the Olympic Games for the first time, and Mizuno shoes were primed to take off.
